((NOHD is the 3rd consecutive mixtape of tracks culled from these "Autumn Worktapes" sessions; particularly between august 2017 - october 2018, I lived in a sort of self-imposed creative exile, working a screenprinting shop full-time in watkinsville (outside of athens, ga) while living in rural winterville, ga and operating a home recording studio in limited free time. Having taken awhile to reapproach writing music after touring duties with the group Mothers ate up most of my time between 2015 and 2017, decided the most pragmatic course of option was to arrange + demo every song i had written during that touring period - while also attempting to document a myriad of new songs as they materialized in real-time. At a very steady clip, I recorded every type & kind of song possible.

the first batch came out as BIRDS INERT (2018) which is more dub & rap influenced. next came the RAINBOW COWBOY COLLECTION (2019), which culled all the country/folk-inflected numbers from my home tapes under the guise of imaginary country-hunk BIRCH RICHMOND. this latest release, "NARCIN ON HEAVENS DOOR", is for my imaginary punk band SPILLS! next is probably the last themed release for awhile, GARY MASSAGE'S HUGE TEA - hard disco, glitched n' screwed >:)
